Athena was founded in 2024 by Peter Worth Jr, who has spent three decades building and protecting SaaS enterprise infrastructures. The driving force behind Athena was to fill what its founder saw as a pressing need to build a security operations platform for the enterprise that simplified the problem of Cyber Defense and brought together all of the major components of the enterprise security operations infrastructure into a single, intuitive, and intelligent system.
