Peter J Worth Sr.
Chairman
Peter Worth Sr. founded American Benefits Consulting (ABC) in the late 1980s and, as its CEO & Chairman, over the next four decades, grew the organization to be one of the world’s leading providers of Employee Benefits and Group Insurance solutions in the United States, ultimately counting over 100 of the Fortune 500 as its clients. In the span of his tenure, ABC a variety of innovative products in the Executive Life, Group Life and Voluntary Benefits business lines, changing the landscape of Employee Benefits for the enterprise and setting a new bar for service and support. Peter Sr. also serves on the Board of Overseers for Northwell Health Foundation and as a Committee Member of the Western Regional Executive Council for Lenox Hill Hospital. In addition, he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Silver Shield Foundation, which provides funds to educate the children of police officers and fire fighters killed in the line of duty. Peter has three children and resides in Palm Beach, Florida with his wife Michelle.

Peter founded Athena Software Group after spending almost two decades leading Technology and Security Operations for one of the nation’s leading Insurance Brokerage providers, serving some of the largest and most heavily regulated companies in the world. Before joining ABC, Peter held senior leadership and executive management roles at Aria Systems, Taleo, CoreCentive, and Portal Software, helping to design and build, and secure, the Cloud and SaaS software infrastructure that has become the de facto standard for application providers today.
Catherine Frey
Director
Catherine brings a wealth of experience in Financial Services, Information Technology, Startups & Venture Capital, and Corporate Board Director experience to Athena. She has over 35 years of experience in Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Investment Banking, and startup technology and software, with particular emphasis on Financial Services and Insurance technology. Over a multidisciplinary career, Catherine has demonstrated a track record of excellence and success in accessing the private and public markets to source investment opportunities and partner with companies and capital providers to drive shareholder value. Catherine has repeatedly collaborated with founders and their management teams during periods of pivotal transition, redefining operating models, cultivating strategic partnerships, and steering capital to scale and drive profitability.
David Camp
Director
David comes to Athena with a wealth of experience, both as an entrepreneur and startup specialist, as well as spearheading the brand & marketing strategies for some of the world’s leading technology companies. He currently serves as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Metaforce, one of the leading Strategic Brand Consulting firms in the US, and prior to this held executive positions at BlackBerry, Amazon Wireless, and Microsoft. Dave has deep experience and a strong track record as a technology marketer, entrepreneur, business builder, and thought leader in complex, competitive, consumer, and B2B markets, as well as a successful record as an outside consultant to businesses. Dave currently resides in Seattle, WA, with his wife and has two grown daughters.
Stephen A. Lundin

Steve has a long history of success building financial services teams across many of the most well-known and successful firms in the world, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional results in complex international and domestic environments. A global leader with extensive success in high-profile P&C, Benefits, Life, and Retirement distribution organizations, known for connecting strategy to execution, inspiring teams to achieve corporate objectives, and catalyzing positive change. Steve brings strong experience in building and strengthening organizational capability, building and strengthening sales pipelines, and driving growth through data-driven business planning, collaborative teamwork, performance management, and team building. Steve joined Athena’s board in May of 2025 and currently resides in Providence, RI, with his wife and two boys.
